Vampire Pattern Anamorphic Tessellation
Share
I thought I'd add to the upcoming Halloween season that has been upon us since may. One more Halloween pattern available for you to get printed goods with. This is good though and I am beginning to document my work with speed art videos. This one shows you how to create a tessellation. To be truly anamorphic you have no remnants of the diamond pattern used at the beginning and this one may not pass that test but it is an all over composition. I don't know what kind of geek I am at this point, but I know pixel art. Lots of schooling in that.
The vampire is pictured more like a modern version of the old cape wearing black and white cinema shows and then the women are a bit edward munchish. The bat is my favoritre but I think I should work on a variation with more vampire drawings. It turned out very well, my first attempt at shading a little more on some randomized portraiture in awhile. Back when I was a pencil artist, I used pastels and charcoal. I was a big shader. It has taken me sevral years of fooling with photoshop tools to start thinking of how to make designs in flat color shapes. I did about 10 or 12 patterns like that last year. Nothing too complex. Was having a meds adjustment and couldn't really spend time THINKING about artwork. My brain wouldn't let me make plans. I'm a year and half into some new meds and its time to get comfy with it again. I am very excited at how this turned out, Drawing designs like the more illustrative type, are my favorite.
So I'm putting it up everywhere. check out my link tree. and look for the newest designs next few days or type in vampire pattern if there is a search this store option. Some stores you have to change the sort to newest. Thanks for reading and stop by. Follow an active artist. Spread the word and try to make a living digitally. I save money commuting, and on art supplies. My computer saves infinite reams of paper and my advertising budget is called social media. Its a green workplace. Let me tell yah. It needs more sales both of individual artists who need followings and on marketplaces that house and showcase their work. The marketplaces are the ones who first invested in the coders that enable the server side apps that perform the magic of 3d mock ups on our uploads. They deserve the sales. Their shops are green and some like Displate are even planting trees. It really is an amazing movement to be involved with the print on demand industry as a digital artist. it has grown and changed a lot in the past ten years since my first sale. It needs to sustain more artists though to become viable for the next generation who is all about streaming and where video is king for attention spans that balance more than one thing at a time. The quality checks are there. These are art filled companies. I'll call you when I can buy a house though. It's all just a side gig till it can pay a mortgage. I am guessing the number of mortgages paid with print on demand artists working alone or in tangence with marketplaces is a very very small number compared to the number of artists employed by these places. My goal.. buy a house some day. It seems unrealistic to count on a steady stream of money from printed art. I say it is 100% possible and the markets need only a slight swing to get there. Its got to stay like a band playing a small room though. Has to be individuals, artists. Some companies have set up sites on marketplaces that are well known art brands and this is helping. It is getting the marketplaces noticed. The audience who buys from them should do more wearing and using and unboxing videos from everything they get. Maybe marketplaces could encourage this intheir member accounts programming after a purchase. I think that would be a huge encouragement to buy.
Hey don't let me convince you vampires are anything but a halloween motif. I am not goth, i am not classified. I do like them only in the fall, and ever since Keanu did bram stokers. That is a long time ago my friend. But hey, don't they have long continuous and randomly time interrupted life spans? Fantasy with a bit of confusion. Thats my favorite.
